T2 Dublin Airport is, to date, one of the largest construction projects in the history of the Irish state. Faced with an enormous task and tight deadlines, our client needed a modern, secure and speedy solution to power over 100,000m2 of floor area.
Solutions supplied a complete modular wiring system with cable management to T2, delivering a fast and accurate installation, which integrated the check-in hall, arrivals, high capacity pier and all office areas.
We used Wieland’s Metalynx Armoured, Gesis GST Standard modular wiring, and EIB Bus to increase the installation speed while reducing the chance of errors.
Our solution was quick to install, benefitting the client by saving on labour. We reduced the chance of errors when installing the general services, DALI lighting,and KNX circuits, guaranteeing reliable data and power distribution. This means that the 28 million passengers using the facilities every year are ensured security and seamless continuity of service.
