5 Hanover Quay is a high-end, 7-storey building, providing over 15000 sq.m of office space and 100 apartments. It combines fantastic views, a beautiful waterside location, and superb local amenities such as hotels, bars, restaurants, and retail units.
Commissioned by Quadrant Real Estate Advisors, we worked with consulting engineer, Ethos Engineering, and electrical contractor, Suir Engineering, to fit a modern electrical installation to the building.
We used plug-and-play modular wiring components from Wieland Electric and a lighting control system from Delmatic, based on a DALI open protocol combined with modular designs. This allowed for decentralized building automation that is easy to engineer and install and provides total flexibility.
We supplied a complete underfloor-to-desk power system, along with modular wiring and a lighting control system. The full package system from CMD Ltd included an underfloor busbar system, floor boxes, cleaners’ hives, floor grommets, and Conti under desk modules.
The intelligent, scalable and modular lighting systems achieved comprehensive central management. Monitoring of the installation is also possible with the powerful local user control. Overall, we reached the environmental and user-comfort objectives, offering convenience and performance in one touch.
